Old New Days

The man told the woman it felt a little bit like the old new days are here.

“When you think of me, I am thinking about you.”

Except, we’re a little bit older with a bit more life experience and new opportunities to explore what we couldn’t explore in a new way.

You know I am going to have you again and that you will let me catch you, so the time is coming when we put aside the pretend and open up to possibility and opportunity.

You miss me, not just heart and soul, but your lips. You know it and I know it.

It is time.

I Saw You

The man wrote the woman and told her he saw her in his dreams and that he knew she was going to come back.

“Still can’t say what will be forever other than you will find yourself in my arms again for no reason other than because fate says we need to know more.

I feel your heart beat and hear your thoughts just as you do with me.

I saw you and knew.”

Where Is My Girl?

The man looks at the computer screen and asks “where is my girl” knowing he could write, call or summon her with smoke signals and get answers to his questions.

“Woman, my heart aches when you are not around. Sometimes it takes a minute to notice but once I do it jumps out at me. We need answers.”

He looks up at a moon he can’t see and tells her one day she is going to step into his arms and pretend it is his fault it took so long.

“You know it is going to happen. You’ll make it out to be me and I’ll let it go just because, but damn sometimes your stubborn nature kills me. Except I am just as stubborn and just as determined. Don’t know what the end result will be, but we’ll figure it out…sooner or later. This I know.”
